This large ball is made from around 200 individually curved keys, hand pieced together to form a polished metal sphere. It measures 23 cm (9 1/4") in diameter (the size of a basket ball) and weighs about 1.7kg (3lb 12oz). The key ball can stand alone or on the red gum timber ring (included). The ring measures approx. 6.5 cm (2 1/2") in diameter. The inside will tarnish with age but the outside is treated with a clear coat to preserve its lustre.
